IMO, the best North American skyline by far is NYC followed by:
Toronto
Chicago
Seattle
Vancouver

I'd say individual buildings in Chicago are better than those in Toronto, but I find Toronto's skyline very attractive, especially with the CN tower.

You mean some Chinese cities?
Try to be fair on other Asian cities.. Don't generalize..

In other Asian Cities - buildings are more diverse than Vancouver IMO.

Hey I like the Empire State Plaza ... and it was Albany Mayor Erastus Corning that did the "dirty work" getting the area bought up ...

There would probably be more variety if the natural setting wasn't so incredible. It begs for glass windows from floor to ceiling which explains the preponderance of glassy highrises.

It must be tough selling art in Vancouver: few blank walls to hang paintings on!

Boston, not going to look like this for much longer. 625' resuming next week (hole dug), 691' starting early next year, and another 625' starting approximately Winter 2014/2015. Also a handful more proposed and approved towers between 500'-600', and a few between 400'-500'. We're going to be busy! Looking forward to a friendly little building competition with our neighbor to the north, Montreal.
