My top two skylines choices are:

1. Chicago
2. Seattle

Seattle has a pretty impressive skyline, with a nice natural backdrop. I think it compares well with other possible 4th skylines, like Houston, Philly, Miami, etc.

Seattle does have a nice backdrop. In fact I like the city's natural settings. But it's skyline lack height and density compared to other cities like Atlanta or even Houston.

Ok, Seattle has a few scrapers over 700 ft. But the rest of the city's scrapers aren't that tall.

Whoa, hold your horses cowboy. Atlanta's skyline is very spread out, definitely not dense by any stretch of the imagination.

Also, Seattle's Bank of America is probably the best looking building on the west coast.

I was about to pack my six shooter

Anyway, Atlanta is not dense but does have some really tall buildings. And The BA building in Seattle is impressive though I find The US Bank Tower in Los Angeles the best looking building in this part of the coast.

New York of course, Manhattan has no peer on the continent.

Honorable Mention: Chicago, Toronto, Philly, Houston, and Vancover

Well Manhattan alone can rival any other skyline.
