I guess that's why I got caught off guard.
The far right its the newest tower in DTLA, is JW Marriot across from Staple Center... there is another been built right now which will be the tallest on the West Coast. The Wilshire Grand. The ones you see on the Hollywood Shot are residential tower close to Wilshire. You are due for a visit...

It all seems so haphazard with next to no thought given to urban planning. That does look like a significant cluster at the top of that photo so Houston does have 2 clusters. NY, LA, and Toronto have it beat in that department though, with at least 3 or more decent sized clusters in each.

Miami would have 2 large clusters, the CBD and Sunny Isles?

I've always thought of Houston and Los Angeles as having two skylines, but Houston could have other clusters like L.A. has. As you can see, there are a few tall buildings that are sort of spread out haphazardly as well as in Los Angeles, and this takes away from the size of the CBDs of both cities and they make less impact than they would otherwise.

Sunny isles Beach is counted separately as it's own skyline because it's an independent city. South Beach could be considered a significant cluster as well, but again, Miami Beach is its own city. Coral Cables and Aventura are significant clusters here as well, but again, they are just two more independent wealthy communities who want no part of Miami. I would count Coconut Grove here within the city limits if I thought it was a significant enough cluster.

I watched Transporter 2 last weekend and there were some great shots of the Miami skyline!

That suburban skyline would stand up pretty well to most skylines in Europe.

Yes, but let's not repeat so many of the same photos that we just saw on the preceding page.

Is it really necessary to quote all those "large" photos?

No, it's not! But I'm leaving them for the time being with a post in that regard since they are not repeated on the same page at least.
