We're not going to let a little dusting of snow get in the way! I suppose Vancouverites aren't tough little Canucks with their mild winters. I have a Vancouver friend that came to visit me in Toronto over the summer. He wants to move here, but is scared of the winter. It never occurred to me that our winter would be an issue for another Canadian.

I know Miami is making great strides, but it still trails New York, Chicago and Toronto.

View from a South American

I have seen many cities around the world and I found no rival for Chicago. It is not only pretty but consistent as well. Nothing seems to fall out of place.

My vote, not only for North American Skyline, but for Wolrd Best Skyline will always go to Chicago.

While it does not necessarily belong in this thread.
But I find it interesting the Global skyscraper development from the perspective of the continents to see.

Here again the world map with the distribution of 150m+ skyscraper (uc, compl).

Europe is counted without Eurasia, ie without the Asian side of Istanbul and without the Russian part east of the Ural Mountains.

North America is counted along with central america.

Australia is counted along with New Zealand.

It looks great from afar though. If you can catch a shot of the skyline from the airport at dusk...Beautiful sight!

It puts things in perspective seeing it from the air. Charlotte's skyline looks good from certain angles, but it's got a long way to go.
