No, Panama City is way ahead of us. We could be on the toes of Panama City by the end of this decade. New projects keep coming and dead projects keep getting resurrected from the last decade.

There was a whole 10 page discussion on the very subject 3 years ago. The modern high rise was the culmination in technologies of the modern world in the late part of the 19th century. Likewise, that Benz patented the first auto engine doesn't make the automobile a German invention. If you choose to believe something else, that's your prerogative.

The German built the first car with gasoline engine (Carl Benz, 1885-1886).

Yes, but Miami has nice sandy beaches, ocean and hot weather! Not that many of North American cities can boast that for a background!

If it's not one thing, it's another. Everything is in order for my trip in two months. I only have to buy plane tickets at this point!

Thanks, Juan Paulo! I wish I could claim it as one of mine, but that one is beyond my capabilities.

Toronto's turning into a colossus and Calgary below looks destined to follow in Toronto's footsteps. Calgary is just outside my north American top 10 today, but I could see it as high as #6 in 7-8 years.

Calgary

Montreal's downtown isn't all that tall, but it's expansive.
