The difference in only 6 years for Toronto's skyline is astounding. This is an actual photo, not a proposed rendering:

I always knew San Diego was a plateau but that photo really makes it apparent. Always loved the skyline though. With height restriction comes pleasant balance!

And it's nice to see other cities in here!

It is actually a rare angle of the San Diego skyline. We often see the view from Point Loma or from the shore of Coronado Island. The view on this picture is by the shoreline, near the Mexican border [guessing it is near Imperial Beach]. What is interesting is that from this angle, it is possible to see how the downtown core extends inland much more than it is apparent on the typical perspectives we are used to see.

Yes! I have definitely never seen it from this angle! What struck me at first was the fact that the Manchester Grand Hyatt to the left of One America Plaza which I have never even considered!

Philadelphia has a better skyline than New York and Chicago. Quantity =/= quality.

That San Francisco shot is just awesome!! I have never seen it from that angle with the neighborhood in the foreground! San Francisco's topography and architecture makes it one of the US' most beautiful cities for sure

I've been seeing your competitive nature about Philly in the North American section, so I'll be cautious but care to prove it through photos?

I partially grew up in the Philly area and even I laugh at this.

I do agree however that it is an underrated skyline, especially once the projects are done FMC, CITC plus a few others it's going to kick ass!

Chicago and NYC are in a whole different league

These jaw-dropping pics of Monterrey, Mexico are proof positive that Mexico is the 14th richest country in the world.

Cities that look like Monterrey are obviously not in some broke-ass backwater.

Mexico is actually the world's 65th richest country. I think you meant they have the world's 15th largest economy. They have a large economy, but few would classify them as rich.

Agree. Monterrey has a gorgeous setting. Here's the southern third of Toronto's downtown core. The foreground is starting to build up considerably as one can see by all the cranes.

^You should get off photobucket. I should too. For one thing, I feel like it reduces the quality of the uploads. I also can't stand that it doesn't include the 1280x1024 option! Reducing pics one at time to that size on other sites and then remembering to use the "display linked photos in their original sizes" option drives me nuts. My personal problem is that I have such a ton of photos on there, so I keep sticking with it even though I know in my heart that the site has been wrecked beyond repair!

Flickr has gotten pretty messed up too. I started using Photobucket because they had made Flickr useless to me, but now they've modified it yet again to where I can use it, but it's very messed up compared to the way it used to be. You can thank Goggle for getting rid of so much free stuff on the Internet.
