Nice to see Mexico City's skyline steadily growing. It's not quite there yet, but it's inevitable that is will become one of the big skylines on the continent.

BEAUTIFUL San Francisco. And it has a great skyline too. Without doubt one of the most beautiful cities in the Americas and in the world.

Maybe I should have combined these two. The first video does a much better job showing the skyline from Downtown to Central Park, including Long Island City and Jersey City, while the second includes the Uptown skyline from 59th to 102nd St.

And one from another angle seven miles to the southwest: New York Harbor skyline from Governor's Island

NYC

While I think Chicago's skyline is the most elegant in NA due to how well balanced it is, I think New York's is more impressive (though I am a bit biased ) because of its sheer size.

Lower Manhattan with Jersey City

This shot shows off Brooklyn's handsome and nicely sized (if not very tall...yet) skyline.

Of course, NYC is no slouch when it comes to architecture, either! One of my favorite shots.

Enjoy!

Seriously? Beside the fact I can't see a skyline there, at least post some decent pics, these looks like taken with a potato. Seriously, it's becoming annoying all this low-quality-spam, here and in the other skylines threads. It's not 2005 anymore, high res or GTHO.

I could making an obviously remark here, but I think one can really appreciate the massiveness monumentalism of NYC's skyline only after have been there. Get on the Top of the Rock and prepare yourself at the most beautiful, astonishing vista you've ever seen in your life.

The same skyline of Santa Fe in México but with better pics... I agree with you with that the quality of the photo is bad, but not all the people in this world have good cameras dude

^Toronto's growth has been amazing. Easily among the top 5 in NA.

Some more NYC for you guys:

The way New York's skyline is illuminated is relatively unique and one of the few Western cities that strikes a good balance between having no color and too much color in the skyline.
Only a handful of skyscrapers are prominently lit which adds some color but doesn't overwhelm and become too tacky.

https://secure.flickr.com/photos/gab...a/14313920192/

A rendering, obviously.

http://www.rvapc.com/

I like this shot because it shows A) the beautiful architecture of the UWS B) The completed One57 (a harbinger of the future 57th street skyline)
C) the growing satellite skyline around Fort Lee, NJ and D) the surprisingly green natural setting around the city, at least to the north.

Keep these shots shots coming, guys! This is a great thread.
