With the wind chill it was -40C yesterday morning. It's pushing our infrastructure to its absolute limit. These last 2 winters have been way colder than normal.

^ we're feeling it here in NY as well. The Hudson River is looking like Lake Ontario.

Yeah, even the Bryant Park fountain completely froze over. This is like midwest level cold. Not a fan.

And since people are doing top tens I'll include mine.

1. NYC
2. Chicago
3. Toronto
(becomes shiftier after here)
4. Houston
5. San Francisco
6. Seattle
7. Calgary
8. Los Angeles
9. Miami
10. Panama City

Honorable mentions to Mexico City (some amazing architecture, but too spread out), Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, and Pittsburgh.

almost reminds me of Chongqing... so bleak from this angle yet such an incredible natural environment. (Though in Chongqing, that natural environment is spoiled by pollution...)

Vancouver looks very polluted in that picture to me. At least the buildings do. They look impregnated with smog and car exhaust. I know it is just the picture since I have seen the city in real person and it does not look like that. It is probably a bad picture on a bad day. Maybe Chongqing is the same.

the photo quality is grainy and it looks like overcast conditions, so that factors in.

Kind of how Los Angeles is spread out but it made it onto the list It really shouldn't be on the list. There are plenty other skylines much better than Los Angeles's skyline and that is coming from a native of LA!

The Southeastern skylines are the most underrated.

imo any city in North America with significant satellite clusters deserves to be top 15, they're typically the ones with awesome downtown centers anyway.
NYC (midtown manhattan - downtown manhattan - downtown brooklyn - Long Island City),
Toronto (Downtown - North York - Missagua),
Houston (Downtown - Uptown),
LA (Downtown - Century City - West LA)
Boston (financial district - Back Bay)
Atlanta (Midtown - Downtown - Buckhead)
