The water mark is annoying but 'stock aerials' provide some amazing photographs so I'm just happy they're willing to share them. That road at the bottom right is Yonge Street just north of Eglinton. There's a 200m tower under construction right at the intersection, a 228m proposal across the street, and a few other slightly shorter ones at various stages. This node is about to get a lot taller/bigger.

Btw, St. Louis used to be one of your largest cities right? Maybe as high as 4th largest at one point?

Most of the city is out of view, it sprawls to the west. The river divides Missouri from Illinois.

I admit I was too chicken to take that ride that goes up inside and over the arch. My friend said it made him feel claustrophobic so I didn't want to risk feeling trapped!
Thanks for posting these photos!

Those two newish towers on the left hand side really helped to beef up Vancouver's skyline!!

Toronto, from downtown (on the right) to midtown on the left.

That's a long skyline by anyone's standards. It's over 4 km from the lake to Yorkville. Btw, our definition of 'midtown' and 'uptown' are still changing as the city expands/grows. Yorkville used to be uptown, then it was midtown, but is it still? I think midtown has now shifted even further north to Yonge/St. Clair; maybe even Yonge/Eglinton. I sense that 20 years from now Yonge/Eglinton will be considered midtown by everyone and uptown will shift to North York City Centre.
