in north america.
1.chicago
2.new york city
3.toronto.
and thats how personally put it.

in the world.
1.hong kong
2.chicago.
3.new york city

personnaly i think ppl let new yorks massive skyline win them over that its the best and thats ok. because i think ny did have best skyline in NA untill after 9/11 thats when chicago took the title. chi has four buildings over 1000 ft. sears/jhc/aon/trump. chi's skyline looks more appleasing than nys. but i LOVE NYC'S HUGE SKYLINE, and i do think it will have a chance of regaining #1 in NA. but chicago for heght and balance. ny for sheer size and density.

nice list, i agree with most of them, except i would put miami over calgary and montreal. dallas and denver are good too, but not in the top 10. btw. it's always so difficult to have a perfect shot of the whole NYC skyline...

Interesting that you mentioned Miami. It was the one city I had the most trouble deciding whether to include. Miami definitely has the scale to be placed highly, but the layering of Miami really bothers me. It's one of those linear 'beach' skylines like Panama City and Gold Coast that I find less appealing. Regardless, it probably deserves to be where you said it should be.

I agree that Dallas and Denver are good, but outside of a top 10. Two I prefer to those are Minneapolis and Pittsburgh, but I'd place those just outside a top 10 as well. Then there's Seattle.

The top 3 for me are easy choices, the next 2 definitely should be included, but after that I find it tough to choose.

Miami's skyline is certainly not linear. You're probably thinking of Miami Beach/Sunny Isles/etc.

nice pics. what miami's skyline desperately needs is a landmark tower which stands out. the best would be a supertall.

Already tried:
Miapolis 2900+ft.
Empire World Towers 1100+ft.
One Bayfront Plaza 1000+ft.
Maybe someday on the third.
