Indeed. The number of tower cranes is evidence of the current real estate boom in the Emerald City. In fact, I just noticed that there are cranes in all of the North American skyline pictures posted above. A true testament of the post-recession recovery.

It really is something to see so many smaller US skylines change after barely changing since the 1990s. Although the economic recovery has been uneven, it seems our cities are benefiting the most.

Never been here but I'm fascinated with the older architecture of Detroit. It looks pretty cool on street view except Ren Center is very aloof from the rest of downtown.
