Haven't visited Chicago but the skyline still has a heavy impact on me.
However, if you're driving toward midtown manhattan on the long island expressway, the answer is right there in front of you. |

sorry but Torontos is not top 2 !! and im not a troll either !! look at it !! a few 250m plus buildings then the rest between 100m and 200m!!! Both NY and Chicago have many more over 200m im pretty sure !!
my list :P 1. New York (so dense) 2. Chicago (just mind blowing) 3. Toronto/Seattle 4. L.A (love the limited but tall scrapers) 5. Philadelphia

Facts to back up my statement
Torontos 15th tallest is 148m its 50th is 110m!! Chicagos is 208m and its 50th tallest is 171m New Yorks is 231m and its 50th is 198m!! Toronto can't compete with that !! even if it has roughly 500 more scrapers than Chicago chicago has the height, it has almost 4,000 less than New York!!

I'm not saying that Toronto's is better than Chicago or NYC, but skyline appreciation is more than just numbers and 'facts'. Or maybe I like picking on people who abuse punctuation marks!! It makes them look a bit too eager!

Hey.. a building or not, the CN Tower is an amazing symbol in the Toronto skyline. What difference does it make if it is an office building or not? Anything that can be seen is a part of the skyline. The point is that it makes a difference.

Last time I checked a skyline's merit was based on big buildings. The CN Tower is a big building. People occupy it. People eat in it. People buy stuff in it. It has the highest observation platform in the world. If you don't think it counts, thats fine. I already think you're an idiot anyway, so you can keep saying stupid things.
