No. I think Central American skylines should be posted in this thread. They are part of North America after all.

And yes, Panama City's skyline is quite impressive due to its sheer size. The quality of most of the buildings isn't anything to write home about but at least in one aspect, it is very impressive. Hopefully they get a couple of landmark buildings.

Within Canada, I keep switching which city I have in spots 2, 3, and 4. Calgary, Montreal, and Vancouver are all very comparable.

Calgary is definitely hold the #2 spot in Canada. I picked Montreal over Vancouver because although its true that Vancouver's skyline is more dense, Montreal has more taller office towers and its skyline is more contrast than Vancouver's low rises dominant skyline.

Calgary skyline is impressive for a relatively small city. (pop. 1.1 million)

What is your rationale for putting Calgary ahead of Montreal?

I guess its because Calgary has the tallest office towers after Toronto.
Having said that, Cagary's skyline is heavyly off-sided. As you can see, instead of in the center, its two tallest and largest skyscrapers are on the far left end of the CBD. Montreal would have been in the #2 spot if there were two 700-800 footers anchor in its downtown core.

Apparently, businesses are stampeding to Calgary, excuse the pun, instead of Montreal.

If you've ever been to Calgary during the weekends, it's quite empty. It's as if people go there just to work.

That's true. Downtown Calgary is a CBD in every sense of the word. It is changing though. Condominiums are finally going up in the core and the downtown population is booming. Because it's starting from such a small base it will take a while before the streets stay busy after business hours.

When you consider how Calgary's skyline is so heavily skewed towards office buildings it opens your eyes to how big that skyline could potentially get when a downtown condo boom starts hitting its stride. The Calgary skyline could easily double in size just from residential construction.

Calgary needs some height. Even with the Bow and Eighth Avenue Place, the skyline still lacks in that department. A couple buildings in the 275-325 m range should do the trick.

They're very similar, but it's nice to fly under the radar sometimes so I often come here instead.
