Las Vegas looks horrible.

San Francisco amazing.

There is no point to deny that USA has diverse cities in skyline wise.

Horrible? it might not be the best but saying it's horrible is way too much.. it's actually one of the most recognizable american skylines especially at night!

Boston from today. Density is a virtue.

I think the skyline is somewhat borderline tacky. But then again, Las Vegas is a resort/casino/themed city, so I guess it's okay.

Went to London a week ago to see The Shard Tower. Wow, for Britain, this is big! 310m makes it roughly as tall as the Library Tower in Los Angeles.

Anyway, i know this is a US city skyline thread, so sorry for being off topic.

For urbanity, density and height:

NYC
Chicago
Philadelphia
Toronto

For urbanity and density amongst beautiful surroundings:

Vancouver
Seattle
San Francisco

My personal favourite North American skylines:

Philadelphia
Seattle
San Francisco
Toronto
Atlanta

It's shots like the one above that cement my contention that Los Angeles is the 4th best skyline in America after New York, Chicago, and Toronto. Looks great!

Houston has multiple skylines and most Houstonians don't want to live downtown so the city is densifying and filling in elsewhere. The CBD is nearly all office towers for energy firms.

I think Atlanta has a better skyline than most 1 million+ cities in the US

A tough choice for the 4th spot (after NYC, Chicago and Toronto), but I'll go with LA, as it just seems more powerful.
