In the next couple of year, Vancouver will have these additions.

I think that the citizens of Vancouver should start a group against the silly height restrictions. For something so significant to the look of the city, perhaps a referendum needs to take place?

Vancouver has great potential, but the ridiculous height restrictions are holding it back.

I take it your ranking isn't based on skyline size.

I have Calgary just outside my north American top 10, but it's really not that far behind cities like Philadelphia and San Francisco when it comes to 100m+ buildings. Maybe it can nudge into 8th or 9th spot in a few years.

Toronto should definitely be in everybody's top 3, IMO.

Houston, and Calgary look great!

Based on size Toronto is definitely in the top 3, but I suppose you could put any city in there as its a 'best' list rather than a 'biggest' list.

I like Calgary and Houston as well: North America's 2 big oil cities. Calgary had to invent new technology to tap their oil so they're a little late to the party. They're playing catch up in a hurry though.

Aaah, forgot about Toronto. Was thinking about U.S. cities only.

Then of course it goes like this:

#1 New York
#2 Chicago
#3 Toronto
#4 Los Angeles
#5 Philadelphia

Houston and Calgary are pretty good too.

Wonderful Chicago pic Spurdo!

Canada has really only ever had 3 big cities, but Calgary looks like it could make it 4. I might have to pay it a visit one of these days. Here are some more:

Calgary has a fantastic skyline, but I'm not feeling that massive strip of car park!
