Based purely on aesthetics (which is what I would think everyone is going by of course), Calgary is my favorite skyline in Canada. Kind of like how Pittsburgh is one of my favorite American skylines even though it's not the largest. While still great, I used to like Toronto more before the addition of a large amount of condo towers.

I can only provide the top two for the US and they are NY and Chicago. The rest is kind of anybody's game and most of the major US cities skyline are very impressive.

I believe its called the 'Belt Line'. I'm curious as to how it will fill in as Calgary grows. I noticed 1 block has an office building on it. Maybe the rest will follow soon.

Toronto was more skewed towards office buildings 5 years ago so it did look better in some respects. That said, it looks like Toronto is about to enter a massive office building boom to match the condo boom. There's currently 13.5 million square feet of office in the planning stages/waiting for approval. With the vacancy rate at 5.1% and demand spiking, even what's planned won't likely be enough.

Perhaps, it will even out a little more over the next 10 years.

That's Eighth Avenue Place II. It is a twin to the office tower to its immediate right, but will be a little shorter. The 2 cranes to the south? I have no idea.

Thanks for the pics! Obviously I wasn't quite in downtown Cancun as I claimed I was.

Btw, why did they keep banning you?
