The name of this project sounds like someone pulling the plonker.

Personally, I do not take this "design" too serious.
Certainly not for NYC, for Dubai it could be an option as Gabriel writes..

I hope for some tough discussion about this one on the Forum...

Do build. I want to see this built. But refine the design better. It looks like a bending 432 Park Avenue.

How would the elevators work there? No room for the shafts.

To copy and paste my post from another thread:

The architectural idea was browsing SkyscraperCity.com and finding a rejected old design for a tower in Shenzhen:

Well, in principle, of course, in theory, in an imagined reality, because there's of course the big difference that around Burj Khalifa all the property is owned by the company that built the tower, therefore they make all the profit from the related sales in the surrounding buildings. Around "The Big Bend", all properties would be owned by a plethora of different companies or individuals, so the guys building the tower wouldn't really have too much of an opportunity to profit from the idea.

I think the Gateway Arch in St. Louis is sufficient enough for this country without the need for another.

I do hope this won't get real in NYC. how to ruin the charm of its amazing skyline. I don't want a giant paperclip in it

anyway I think it's time for a megatall in this city
