TEL AVIV | Intercity Tower | 400m | 1312ft | 100 fl | App

Israel’s Future Tallest Building Granted Approval in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv, Israel – 27 March 2017

Measuring 400 meters in height, the 100-floor Intercity Tower has been granted planning approval. When completed, the new tower would become Israel’s tallest, stripping the Moshe Aviv Tower of that designation.

The ambitious initiative, planned by Miloslavsky Architects, began in June 2014 and has now been officially approved by the Israeli Finance Ministry’s district committee. The committee accepted both the construction plan and a recommendation by Tel Aviv’s city engineer, Oded Gvuli, to allow the tower to cover more than 166,500 square meters at its base.

Gvuli told the national daily newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth that “a building such as this has yet to be built in Israel.”

The colossal skyscraper will not include any residential apartments due its distance from Tel Aviv’s residential areas, but will house offices, public spaces, and hotel rooms. It will also feature 24 high-speed elevators to accommodate the heavy load of visitors and workers.

The tower is expected to be completed in 2023 and will be built on the edge of Israel’s bustling diamond district and business center, Ramat Gan.

Looks amazing, I love all the greenery all over the place, hopefully the flowers will make it in the final realization.

Very nice tower, Tel Aviv needs its own landmarks and this will be a great addition.

Plans for Israel's Tallest Building Approved
The 244-metre-tall Moshe Aviv Tower would be dwarfed by Israel's new tallest building, which has been approved for construction by the Israeli Finance Ministry's district committee. The 400-metre, 100-storey "Tower Between Cities," more formally called the Intercity Tower, has been planned by Miloslavsky Architects for Tel Aviv.

Someone has updated more recent than March? I was checking online and it looks that everything has been approved but I haven't found timelines for the project and realization
