Kaunas ARENA + Akropolis complex

Yesterday was presented project for the complex. Construction supposed to be started in May-June. Photos thanks to fotikas (miestai.net registered user).

Good for Kaunas. Akropolis complex looks interesting, but maybe buildings are too flat.

It's about time they start building that arena because too much time passed since the "plans" were announced. Hopefully things will start moving forward.

The fasade proposals for arena look excellent to my mind!
Am not sure about Akropolis though. Like a large flat "pancake" at the riverside, over the road - they could make it more "natural" klooking.
