Telling Phrases

Don't you just love those phrases that really mean something completely different to what is being said? for example:

Both

"We should be extremely happy with the position we're in at the moment considering where we were last season"

and

"whatever happens now at least we tried our best"

and

"They're the favourites, the pressures on them"

all mean, We are about to lose. Heavily.

Agreed. Here's another one....

"Uni life is great, it teaches you independence"

means i've got today to scramble together my assignment for tomorrow's hand in and if I fuck up, I have to live with the consequences

lol. And of course all the sentances me and you have just said actually mean. I'd rather be typing this than a countryside planning essay.

the first proposal will only help with the first section, I cut and paste from my original assignment and tweaked it a bit.

The rest is new, I think it has to be Is it to be a discussion and in essay format, only with the defined headers of sections

Yep, first proposal is mainly the first bit. Then another bigger literature review with key issues highlighted is the middle bit. Then a discussion using your own views based on reseach/evidence is the last bit. I really must get off home now or i'll never start properly. Another late night for me!

And i think that job application thingy is supposed to be in for tomorrow! But its too late to do that now. I'll just do it next week, Probably still get away with it.

Right, i must go, i've got to go buy some pasta for my tea then do some serious reading. Oh the life of a student!

I thought I would enjoy doing a degree in English Literature with Language and Linguistics but fuck it's boring as shit sometimes and an essay a week is just too much. Ah well. I'll live, uni sucks when you're skint, roll on April 11th, I need my fucking loan.
