The Met looks a lot like one of Le Corbusier's plans from 1922. He designed all of the upper-class apartments in his plan for the "Ville Contemporaine" as having their own hanging gardens with small trees and everything in a grid on a skyscraper. I'm not sure how often plans like this have been built before or if that's really the inspiration, but the similarity just struck me.

Seems like Bangkok will get even more skyscrapers in the future. It have a good skyline today, but these will perhaps add density.

The Regent project look very nice.

i was in BK ealier this year n i saw few of this contruction sides i was stayin at the hotel(cant remember the name)opposite The Fullerton.Btw,just wondering,is the project designed by Kenzo tange continuing?

Kenzo Tange designed the existing Bangkok City Tower:


And the 81-storey, 315m high Exchange Square from the pre crisis years which was unfortunately never built.

Those are the only two Kenzo Tange projects in Bkk that I am aware of
