Brentwood Center of Burnaby, the archrival of Metrotown is currently under a massive redevelopment around the Brentwood skytrain station.

With 60 stories tall the brown one under construction would be the tallest building outside of Vancouver once its finished.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vancouver's tallest are soon found in places like Brentwood, Metrotown, etc.

Make sure you get a Montreal smoked meat sandwich at Swartz's on St. Laurent and some Montreal bagels from Fairmont or St. Viateur bagels.

Surrey, the largest city (in area) of the Metro Vancouver region. The tall tower under construction is the tallest building between Calgary and Burnaby.

Ok, this is the Shangri La and Trump towers killer, the approved Gilmour Place in Brentwood Burnaby area, with 65 stories it would become the tallest residential tower west of Toronto.

Are those place holders or what the proposal looks like? Question #2: is that where you transfer from train to bus when heading to SFU?

This project is located right beside the Gilmore Station which is only 5 mins walking distance to Brentwood Center. To the east the Millennium line would take students to the University Station then transfer by bus to SFU and to Douglas College at the last station. To the west, UBC students can get off at the Commercial/Broadway Station, then continue to the campus by bus.

Thanks. I was in Vancouver for the first time last October and went to SFU the same way you describe.
