@wjfox2002: I don't have a better photo of San Francisco, but the one that is posted is pretty boring. SF has one of the most photogenic downtowns in the world. There must be something better out there in SSC land.

The Toronto and S.F pics suck here but i'd go with New York followed closely by Chicago. It is no surprise to me since NYC and Chi are the best in the world and only challenged by HK and Shanghai.

I searched everywhere for decent pics of San Francisco and Toronto ... these were the best ones I could find (even with Google!!). If anyone has any decent pics, please post them here. Thanks.

Ordinarily I would have voted NY

no doubt NY has a staggeringly huge skyline that beats the rest but it lacks a good photogenic focal point and I think Seattle can pull that off as beautifully as any NY cluster.

I voted for Seattle anyway

This thread should be split into 2 one between New York and Chicago (and maybe Toronto)--and another for the other cities--because most people are going to pick new york.

Be it 1 thread or 2 my vote still goes to Seattle.

For a city the size of Toronto, it has an amazing skyline. If you were to go through out the whole city, there are pockets where there are huge building that pop out of nowhere. An example of this would be North York City Centre, Scarborough City Centre, Etobicoke City Centre and Yonge and Eglington. All of those area's have large towers and are getting more. But all of the cities mentioned have beautiful skylines.

@wjfox2002: This is the best I could find of SF. I didn't take it, it was posted on SSC a while ago.

Much better SF pic. The density is impressive and the city itself is so captivating.

NYC and Chicago are the two best in the world in my opinion--followed by Hong Kong.

as for the others...its really tough. Toronto is very big...but Seattle is so beautiful.
