Glass on the condo portion of the tower looks great.....



.....untill you look down at the parking podium. Yikes! Metal-mesh screen or no, this podium is brutal:



Could've been a beaut of a tower - too darn bad these windowless, glassless, inhumanely-scaled podia are taking over the town.

even worse than the podium is the west elevation- you know, the one that 90% of the public see from michigan avenue....it looks like circa 1960's public housing.

brininstool + lynch should stick to midrises. if you count their debacle on jackson and this- forgiving their east berlin homage on franklin & ontario because it's too short, they're 0 for 2 over 20 stories.

Wow I actually agree with you on something Helmet. This building looks like crap coming down Ohio. That whole side of the building is just garbage and it sucks that we will have to look at this from Michigan Ave.
