Has anyone heard of the church or cathedral they are building in Barcelona? Its supposed to be really really tall. Its on Barcelona's under construction diagram on www.skyscraperpage.com. What about Westminster Abbey?

The Ulmer Munster is the tallest, it is a real church!
I've been there too, it was a fantastic view as i remember.

The Sagrada familia in Barcelona was impressive!

The ''O.LV.'' church in my hometown Breda is beautiful, but ''only'' 96 meters high.

Tallest and/or highest church in western US?

Anyone have any ideas on what the tallest and/or highest church west of the Mississippi River might be?

About the Sagrada Familia: "the tower's total height (170 m) will be one metre less than that of Montjuïc, as Gaudí believed that his work should not surpass that of God." (wikipedia)

Ulmer Munster will remain the highest for ages then. The tallest in France are the Rouen Cathedral 151m, and the Strasbourg Cathedral 141m (see, it's always **1m)!

I have been up the Ulmer Munster and its an amazing piece of architecture. The tallest proper church. Churches perched atop skyscrapers are just afterthoughts "the one in chicago"
