This is an amazing tower, although the observation platform extension looks out of place just sitting on the top. Any idea how much the penthouse was sold/selling for?

Hmm, this seems to be a common theme - people unknown to the thread jumping on and making an unjustified, two-word declamation of the inadequacy of the tower, then apologising for it! What an interesting form of critique

It's still available as far as I know, with an asking price of AUD $8 million. It's not a particularly special penthouse actually, just the whole of the 84th floor (total of about 550 square metres of space).

Sorry. Im not in love with this at all. Actually dont even like it. I cant get past that absolutely horrible mast. At first glance, I thought it was cool until I reeaally looked at it. It doesnt do it for me but I digress.

Side note: Im sorry if I may have offended someone, not because Im jealous. I just want to make that clear.

lol No problem. i certainly dont expect that it's for everyone. At least you quantified/qulaified your opinion, so people know where your coming from, instead of dismissing it with a two word answer. I find it quite funny that both of those forumers are from israel and both gave the same responce(pretty much) and then apologised for it.

Cheers

The mast has not been approved yet. The planning department has asked for more information and architect is still working on the final plans for the mast. I think they just wanted to get an application in and they rushed it a bit, they didn't expect anyone to find out about it this soon and just wanted to make sure that they could get a permit quickly when they need it.

Hopefully the final version will be a significant improvement, it could also end up being signficantly higher as there is no height limit :-)

If what you say is correct than it makes some sense. I guess I'll hold my final judgement for the completed project. Things can change. One can only hope so.

Oh, come on man. Of course youre entitled to your opinion. Now what "Peter" stated was an opinion (no matter how stupid it may have been), it isnt fact unless you happen to believe it. Lets relax guys and gals. (if there may be) Critique the building instead of each other.

Great building!!!

But I still prefer Q1.

If I'm not wrong, both Eureaka and Q1's penthouses went for 8 million right?

Some japanese man paid 8.4 million for the top apartment in Q1. I think.
