7.5/10

The architecture is alright, but for being America's fourth-largest city, the size of the skyline is a bit disappointing.

I applaud Houston for having tall buildings (Floor height-wise) without having the use of spires or antennas, but what the city has in height, it lacks in architecture. Pretty bland. Density-wise, for it's population (slightly fewer people than Chicago), it's pretty sparse.

I was hesitating between 8/10 and 8.5/10, but okay, I'll be positive.

Nice shot. Can any one answer Why Atlanta , and LA , maybe Dallas Dont have a continuation of Urban High rise Skylines Like Chicago or NY. Why do these Sprawl cities Build other Business Skyscraper clusters separate from the main Downtown???

In the case with L.A., it may be because the metropolis sits on some major earthquake faults (of which a major quake could be eminent). High rise developers therefore would be reluctant to invest in such a risk. But the area of the tallest skyscrapers in L.A. is the downtown area surrounded by numerous suburbs or satellite cities like Long Beach or Century City. Many of these satellite cities have their own business districts probably built on more stable land. I'm not sure what the case is for Atlanta or Dallas.

The Texas Medical Center itself could be a skyline for another city.

I'm sure El Paso would beg for it....
