Great skyline, similar to Calgary's in size & height I think. 8.5/10.

NVM. Houston has two supertalls and Calgary's tallest is only about 774ft. Nonetheless the Calgary skyline looks very impressive probably because it's quite dense.

I gave Houston 8.5/10 and that would be a very high rating from me since I only gave Toronto a 9 and I'm a Torontonian. So far I only gave Vancouver & NYC 10s.

In my opinion, this is the best picture of downtown Houston.

Houston Skyline by intrigue139, on Flickr

The angle of Houston usually pictured (west if you have a compass) is so obsolete due to the gaps between the skyline, whereas in the view above, nearly every major skyscraper in Downtown is visable.

Houston is not just H-Town. It's my home.

The US has better skylines than most of the world I think, so the standards should be higher.

At least 15 of the worlds top 50 skylines are in the USA

The skyline has height but absolutely no diversity. The architecture is so bland tbqh. The skyline is big, but when compared to smaller cities like San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, it pales in comparison

^ I disagree. I think Houston's skyline is a perfect example of post modern architecture done right. It's not tacky or ugly at all.

I didn't say it was tacky or ugly. It just lacks character. The skyline is pretty forgettable. Sure, it's a modernist dream skyline, but its nothing to write home about. But still, impressive for having 2 supertalls

..... look at the entire skyline from a distance. I doubt you would say "forgettable".
