Houston.............

in my opinion is underrated. Not quite a 'super skyline' but 8.5/10 for me.

Like I've said elsewhere, Houston's skyline has to be viewed from certain angles to be impressive.

That's a strike against it to some degree, but it's quite a sight when captured from the right perspective.

The originally posted pics don't do it the same justice as these ones:

Stunning skyline - 8.5/10 - but the city sucks - no real city center or downtown - only some towers and suburs

Nice and modern skyline! 9/10

And I like that there is plenty of vegetation around the skyline. Looks very pleasent.

Wonderful collection of modern skyscrapers but lacks historical structures and there isn't an abundance of natural beauty to enhance the skyline. This keeps it from being one of the "world's greatest" but still impressive.

8/10

Very dull!. 5

There are obviously some nice buildings there, however the skyline looks quite bland and generic even.

As a few people have pointed out, the lack of any interesting geographical backdrops doesn't help.

Very small CBD for a city of 4mil.

Would you like it to be on top of Mt. Everest. Look on a map and see where Houston is located. Its not far at all from the Gulf of Mexico. It's not gonna be hilly.
