The skyline of Houston is impressive mainley because of the building hieghts. The downtown though is not that large of an area and just 5 miles out from the downtown is very open and full of open feilds..................................... It is a large city but its not dence as all. There is almost no public transpertation. Ive seen better public transpertation in cities 1/4 its size.Though the expressway system is fairly good and seems to flow well. The metro area has a population of 4 million but does not feel like it ........................... Five miles out of downtown and you feel your in the country rather than a city. The air quality is very bad because of all the factories even though its not dence.I wont blame you for hating me if your from houston lol but sorry i have to be honest...........................................................................................................................................On a good point housing in houston is very cheap compared with many american cities and crime isnt as bad as cities such as Miami atlanta and detriot. After all said I still give houstons downtown a 10 because the skyline is amoung my top 15 favorite in the united states because of the talls.

Typical American city, 5 talls in the middle and then nothing. But due to its downtown's height, I'll give it an 7/10

Great skyline! and its lack of hills is cool for me since i'm so used to look at mountains everywhere i go hehe. (i live in Santigo de Chile).
Houston also reminds me of Santiago because of having many skyscrapers areas (downtown, uptown...), in Santiago there're many different areas with office high-rises too.

Sure, five talls and then nothing.

An interesting fact is that in a 5 mile radius of downtown Houston live over 400,000 people. In a 10 mile radius live over 1.25 million. It is much more dense than many people seem to believe.
