Post photos of train stations.

Next stop, Mawson Base.

Photo taken from danielbowen.com

It's Brighton Beach, by the way.

PTUA - A-OK!

Brighton Beach is a cool station, if anyone's wondering why it looks schizo, that's because it used to be a terminus (right) until the line was extended to Sandringham (left).

Gotta love dock platforms

I was at Brighton Beach a couple of weeks ago. Very nicely situated station. The beach itself is alright too.

On my last day in Melbourne last weekend, I went out to Werribee, Sydenham, Broadmeadows and Upfield (and also Epping, had it not been for a last-minute termination of my train at Keon Park ). Anyhoo, I took some photos of the train signs and the lines going down from the platforms out of Melbourne. Not too interesting though.

Nah, only 20 minutes out by train. It's south/southeast of the city on the coast of Port Phillip. Very nice view of the CBD from Holloway Bend right nearby.

Damn, didn't know that station looks so good (Flinders St, in'n'it?)

It's now on my priority list for buildings to take shots of when I go down there in summer.
