#089 l Wisma 46 l JAKARTA l 262m l 48fl
Wisma 46
Jakarta, Indonesia HEIGHT: 250m/820 feet FLOORS: 48 floors COMPLETION: 1996 ARCHITECT: Zeidler Roberts Partnership/Architects, DP Architects Private Limited The firm of architects conceived the general plan of the project for this mixed use superblock, situated in a lot of 15 hectares in the centre of Jakarta and later developed the 46 floor office tower, currently the highest in Indonesia. With its characteristic deck topped with a mast and its volumetry of light granite and the blue reflective curtain wall, this building is the most significant landmark of the Jakarta skyline. The regular shape of the plan, which introduces the solid facade treatment, complements the design of the coronation of the building. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is currently the tallest in Jakarta and Indonesia. Nice building, but i kinda wish there was more density around it. It looks taller than it actually is. I know that coz i drive by it every week!! In fact, Jakarta needs a more clustered skyline... I rate it 9/10. Looks really cool in person!! Way better than in pics coz you can see the detailing so much clearer.... Last edited by ZZ-II; June 23rd, 2008 at 08:20 PM. |

I would imagine this would look better in person. The white facade detracts from it IMO. 7.0 for me.
Anyone got a height on it?

Doesn't strike me as a 'great' building.

I agree with you guys that the white facade is annoying in pictures, but look at the building in person. You will truly appreciate that white facade. Too bad i cant find that many pics but this is a really nice building.

The height of this building is:
Roof............200m/656ft Pinnicle.......250m/820ft Floors.........46 I know the height coz i always compare with Makati's tallest, PBcom Tower-280m. PBcom looks shorter coz it is on a dense area of Makati.

I'll give it 8.7/10!
The Horn is inspired by the Indonesia's legendary Panji Semerang custome I think!

that thing about the Parker Pen tenant seems funny to me. Was the building owned by Parker or something?
was the building made for Parker? I've seen better rendering and clearer one from WSF! Not so striking design...tho it's unique...any other Jakarta high rise? |

It seems a bit disjointed. Something isn't quite right about it, though it seems like a nice building...

They tried to employ an architectural element which didnt come off as planned. The white facade detracts seriously from the building.

I'll rate it 8/10. I'm not sure if I like the white facade's shape at the bottom... I also don't think the top of the building (round shape) is as nice looking as possible. It would have been a bit nice, if it was totally round imo.
Looking away from a few small things that could have been better, I really like BNI Center. A building that I could have designed my self
