Great building, but the spire dont fit IMO.
Fits more into Chicago than NYC.

However, the building doesn't have a huge impact on the skyline, but its a wonderful building nevertheless.

omg! so dangerous work!! so it seems that after ages, the construction methods, like this one in special, hasn't changed that much...!
(you can see some similar pics of workers in guadalajara, in the thread 'working high' that is in my signature)

and, i agree with the thing about the spire, it doesn't fit that much, or they could do something else, like making the lateral cladding, or the glass on the top, larger, o something like that, not just a large spire...

I like spires and corwns, keep it, without it it is a box and plain.

Towers like that one should get a spire but the spire shouldn`t count for the high. John Hancock Center for example has a spire and a "honest" high.

Okay to the tower.
The speed of construction is extrem fast.
The tower looks nice better than the boring Seven World Trade Center or Bloomberg Tower.

They aren't wasting any time putting this one up, as the steel framing from the first office floor to the roof is like looking at the same page on the blueprints 50 times.
(of course the steel is reduced in size every couple of tier's or so, but the framing layout probably does not change much, if at all !!!!) I'd say two floors in a 40 hr. work week without a problem, or about 6 month's till she's topped out..!!!!

And thanks for the fantastic updates and photos.....great shot's..!!!!!
