Maybe buying the Penthouses with lower area values may be a good investment... if you can afford it :P!!

hi! im a student of architecture in pakistan. im conducting my thesis on 'resort developmet on the palm jumeirah crescent'. im goin to plan & deisgn one for my thesis ( of course its not goin to implemented). ive been reading this forum for quite some time & thot mayb some1 of u cud help me in finding the ' bylaws for building construction on the palm jumeirah'. i have contacted nakheel as well but as u all know tht they keep all their information very confidential.
which other department/ministry can i contact to obtain at least the 'building construction & design by laws for jumeirah beach'. the by laws should be for commercial ventures like hotels & resorts & for the coastal area of dubai.

Located on the crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, the project will cover 100,000 square metres and comprises two seven-storey buildings. The Kempinski Palm Residence and Hotel on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, is currently under construction and the company confirmed it is on track for completion of the Residences by the end of 2009 and of the Hotel during 2010.

Artur Mkhitaryan, President, Poznyakizhilstroy Corporation, said, "As the leading private developers in Ukraine, with strong cash reserves and no gearing, we have been well-placed to insulate our projects from the effects of the global liquidity crisis and are in a very strong position to conclude our projects. That means we are able to press ahead in 2009 and see us strongly positioned in 2010 and beyond, as the market picks up again.

The other two hotel properties in Dubai - the Kempinski Business Bay and the Kempinski Jebel Ali - will start construction during, early 2010, as planned. Poznyakizhilstroy also announced that the designs have been completed for its new Kempinski Plaza Kiev development, and this will be complete in time for the 2012 UEFA European Championships.

Kempinski Hotels has announced the opening of its first beach resort in Dubai in March 2010, and will be operated as private residences and luxury hotel apartments. Kempinski Residences Palm Jumeriah will feature 244 units of apartments, penthouses, townhouses and villas.
