what stations were you in? not all stations by a longshot have this feature.

Such a long time ago (1988) that I can't remember and, to be honest, I can't remember if the station that we got off at had this feature. All the same, I would be surprised if the station we got on at was the only one with this arrangement.

word. i know for sure that the newer stations do not, it may be a few in the city centre. i would think it is because the subway was new and this was a way to teach good public transportation manners.

The original stations didn't have the platform doors, so no... It was a design in the seventies was it not, the first section was opened in the fifties.
