My list is pretty short:
Hamburg - for my needs it is good enough, but some big districts are not connected. Opened 1912. Berlin - I like the new train sets. Also the flatscreens in the trains are better then the ones in Hamburg. Opened 1902. London - It is just amazing when the tube rushes trough the tunnel. But the long way from the surface to the platform and also the often long ways between two platforms at the stations where you change are annoying. Additionally the "metro" in Palermo (which is not a metro by definition of urbanrail.net) and the light rail in Istanbul between Beyazit and Eminönü. I can also update my list! I can finally add the mother of all underground systems:
Amsterdam Rotterdam Paris (metro and RER) Roma Brussels (metro and pre-metro) Prague Barcelona (metro TMB and metro FGC) Berlin (U-Bahn and S-Bahn) London With exception of the East London Line and Waterloo & City Line I've travelled them all. Only within zones 1 & 2... |
