If you are planning on visiting Copenhagen you should probably wait until July 2019 where the City Circle line goes into service.

Other important deadlines are the opening of the Nordhavn branch in December 2019 and the Sydhavn branch by the end of 2022.

I'm planning to do at least the following this year...

- Prague
- New York City
- Boston
- Washington DC

As far I had these covered already (most recent visit to metro):

- Rotterdam/The Hague (June 2017)
- Amsterdam (2016)
- Brussels (2015)
- London (2009)
- Paris (2015)
- Barcelona (2013)
- Rome (2006)
- Berlin (2014)
- Copenhagen (2013)
- Stockholm (2015)
- Oslo (2015)

One I want to do around the summer of 2019:
- Jakarta (UC, 3/2019)

Also I'm looking to visit other European metro systems but this is depending on the budget. That's where work is for.

Biggest misses as of now:
- Prague (2010)
- Hamburg (2015)
- Marseille (2010)

Update: Prague will be a destination for this year

Prohibit the construction of new single-family dwellings without stacking apartments in Amsterdam (A10), Rotterdam (motorway ring), The Hague, Utrecht (outer ring), Eindhoven (ring), Tilburg (ringbanen) and Groningen (provincial ring)!

And prohibit the use of agricultural land for new dwellings!

My last visited metro is:

101. Kiev
Im quite a bit disappointed. I expected more decorated stations, like in Moscow.

So... my list is very short.

1. Paris.
2. Budapest.
3. Rome.
4. Berliner S-Bahn (no U-Bahn, so I don't know if it counts; S-Bahn is overground, but it's still a separated subway).

And underground railway in Barcelona, which has a common station with the Barcelonian Metro, the tracks are just next to each other, but no travel by the metro itself.

And underground railway would be also in some other cities, not even having a metro, including Łódź itself.

Diz I didn't know Portland MAX light rail has any measurable track underground, or Minneapolis light rail. for that matter. I know Seattle Link light rail does have underground (not just downtown) but I wasn't aware Portland or Minny does. Clarify?

Moscow is unique! All the others ex-soviet cities have just little copies of its wonderful metro.
