Град на сјеверо-истоку Републике Српске, Босна и Херцеговина. Смјештена на раскршћу путева, у близини ријека Дрине и Саве. Центар региона Семберије. Процјењује се да општина данас има око 120.000 становника. Најстарији пронађени трагови обитавања датирају из периода неолита - старчевачке културе, 4-5 миленијума старе ере. Важно раскршће културних утицаја у енеолиту, бронзаном добу и касније.

New "market field" is planned for Bijeljina, it should be located between Bijeljina and Brčko, few kilometars away from Bijeljina. Here are some pictures (small images), and I'll leave links from larger ones, becose they're simply too big

New halls for Bijeljina's piazza (market), located near old "Kvantaška pijaca". Nice project. As in my first post, I'll post small pictures and later links to larger images.

Building for new "Folkoteka", place where you can listen folk music, very popular in Bijeljina and Brčko. Here are projects (this building is finished, I know that becose I've been there).

Ti projekti i jesu realizovani, ali problem je što na Internetu nema slika tih zgrada...što ne znači da ih ja neću nekako nabaviti i postaviti ovdje.

Bijeljina has soem really nice projects. I am happy that even the smallest cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are getting some really modern projects. Cheers to the future.

I think in this case it would be construction. Reconstruction has already been boomed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and now it's usually all or mostly construction.

I'm glad you are feeling that way. Bijeljina is fast growing city (compare population in 1990 and 2005), and I think it has great future. I've been there 6-7 times, very nice.

P.S. Mimica, I would put Bijeljina in "small cities" group, becose if that's true than cities of "big group" have 1-2 million population.

I'd really like for you to make an index like you did for the East Sarajevo and Banja Luka threads on the first post.

That makes it all much easier to see what projects, and how many there are.

P.S. - I found some projects from Bijeljina, and I'll post there later.
