It will add something nice and tall to that 6th ave corridor which has had no change in about a decade at least.

Yeah, when I stayed in NYC, that area particularly AotAs was my least favourite part of Manhattan architecturally. It needed a kick up the arse and this tower will do just that! *whammo*

Compare roof height as well.

I'm not sure, but a roof height that is surpassed by a spire does not make it shorter.

Otherwise, Philadelphia's Comcast Center (Currently under construction) will be surpassed only by The Empire State Building.

besides, BOA at roof height is only 30 ft shorter than CC.


so remember, structurally, from the ground to the 'tippy tippy' top, BOA is taller.

I kinda agree with Fish. Highest occupied floor means alot to me. Thats why the Petronas Towers still bug me. So officially BOA is taller, but comcast has better height
