Its amazing how little construction room this building will have in between the buildings on either side of the giant hole.

I'm a little surprised that Bank of America (or any major world bank) would put up such a non-conservative building. I love innovative buildings, but you don't usually see banks anywhere near the edge of the envelope.

Height is totally different. There you need to show your power.

I believe this building was a speculative office tower at first, with the Bank of America signing a lease for 1 million sq.ft. after it's construction was announced (as One Bryant Park) I'm sure the lease insured it's construction however, i don't think it had financing problem's beforehand though.

And yes as far as a signiture office tower, this one is nothing short of awsume..!!!!

Well considering that Bank of America occupies or owns the tallest building in almost every major American city, its really not surprising that they would lease space in this building.
