9.5/10.....they only need a law to rule the construction, or it´ll become a SP with tall scrapers

7/10.
I've lived in Shanghai so i know what the buildings REALLY look like - apart from what's in Pudong near the Huangpu River, there's nothing else really. If you look, you'll notice that it's always the same old buildings.

Unlike NYC and HKC - you can go at it from any angle - from the harbours - from the mountains - and you will always get something spectacular.

remind me of some wildly futuristic shows, shanghai's towers look similar to them!
it looks like an amusement park for me (don't react!!!!!)
the height of buildings is as expected from china....

I've heard that some Chinese saw the giant circle at the top of the SWFC as suggestive of the Japanese flag (and hence were offended by it), thus suggesting the Mori Group (from Japan) had some kind of neo-imperialist message to send.

Chinese forumers, how many Chinese believe this? Would you say the building is generally liked or disliked within China?

somebody said it best: "if you're a skyscraper fan you haven't lived until you see shanghai".

i completely agree. love it or hate it, tacky or not, this is without doubt the largest, tallest, and most daring skyline in the world after the Big 3.

Wow, great, the best in the developing world.9/10. But Jin Mao and the SWFC are too close. Not good. Make it a bit further from each other.
