São Paulo 268m!

This is "Torre 5th Avenue" of the Água Branca project. The image was sent to me by the construction firm - that's why I won't complain about the quality. It will have 61 floors and 268 metres of height. I love it!

if you consider thatt sao paulo's tallest tower is a 170m one from 1960, this surely is a big step

i just wish the render was a bit better

Raised in some parts and even lifted in other parts - unless the firm improves the infra-structure for some of the projects. This was planned to be started by the end of the year or the biginning of next year.
But maybe another building on the loooooong list of 'never builts' in São Paulo, ha ha ha!!!

Why so many cancelled buildings in such a huge metropolis? There is really need for tall buildings there, especially supertalls!

Too Many questions, not enough answers. Hopefully it'll get built. Sao Paulo needs more of these towers.

It is approved and is a part of 13 towers that are being built during a period. Nine towers were already built, two are under construction, and the other two, the white one with 175m and the 60storey one are still to come. There is one more project to be approved for a building with TV and observation tower and 223m in the Av. Paulista region.

woooops.... so... Mexico City doesn't gonna have the highest Tower in Latinamerica??? uhhmmm... that's bad for Mexico City.... jajajaja but that's very cool for Brazil!!!!.... consider that sao paulo's tallest tower is a 170m.... Congratulations Brazil!!!!... that's marvelous.... .... sadly Mexico is going to conform with Torrena (336m)... as the highest communication tower over all Latinamerica...

It's amazing that Sao Paulo's tallest is only 170m when it has more than 3000 skyscrapers listed on Emporis (behind only Hong Kong, New York & Singapore). Cello - is that legit that there are actually more than 48000!!! OMG!

Anyway good to see something really tall going up - looks quite good from the render.

Oriolus: São Paulo hold the highest buildings in the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE for more than 50 years, until heigh restrictions started in the 70s. Then several countries in Latin America, South Africa and specially Australia passed us.

The reason the height restriction was lifted to this building is that the company signed a deal with the city administration to build several popular houses and commieblocks for very poor people who cant afford housing and also to reform an old historic building. So you see, they wil have to spend so much money in exchange for building this tower. It surely goes against building skyscrapers if you can have more profit building smaller towers.
