Don't worry about what denvernative has to say.
He's a jerk and he doesn't know what he is talking about. Dayton looks fine. If denvernative thinks that's seedy, he doesn't know what seedy is.

Let's face it - DenverNative is clearly an antagonist.
A quarter of all threads in the midwest forum are created for the sole purpose of proving him wrong. This is what he does, and it seems to work. Dayton is clearly a pleasant, clean, friendly-looking place. Other than the fact that it looks slightly frozen in time, I see no evidence of anything seedy or even potentially "creepy". |

Dayton has an awesome downtown and skyline. I wouldn't even mind living there. Who cares what Denvernative has to say.

Your thread title cracked me up, Jeff. Great pics...and if that's seedy, I'll take it!

Dayton is awesome. The longer it waits, the better it will be.
seriously. don't worry about the lack of attention. Within ten or twenty years, when Ohio lives out its destiny as the high-speed rail capital of America, Dayton et,al...Hamilton, Middletown...will boom. East coast living and architecture at 1/4th the price. Destiny. |

It does look very nice, just a little. . deserted. If there were more people out walking it would look even better.
