not overly blown away with these designs, but im sure they will be very impressive when built, they also have an all american feel to them, with floors right to the roof and no change in floor plan. No pretty spires here

bland design.

1200 feet and 110 floors, Who really wants a condo with 9.5 foot cielings? Good enough for rental but not for sale. 1200 feet and 90 floors would make a lot more sense. Also, the article claims that 1500 units would generate 4.8 million annual rev. for the city? If that is the case then Miami has to have some of the lowest property taxes in the US.

Sorry, but this proposal smells like BS to me.

Seriously though. It doesnt seem like anybody has done their homework on this proposal. It may get built, but I doubt it will manifest itself in this form.

Great news for miami and florida the design is a little too basic but look no cheating with spires. And i assume czm3 has not been to Miami it has many hi-rise condos and one more. As these condos get built people lose their precious view but with a building that towers over the rest u have an unlimited view. Plus he is from boston

for all of you that wanted a redesign, the towers are now more oval shaped, the color is gray with blue glass and skybridges were added.

Developer Leon Cohen of Maclee Development envisages a total of 1,800 residential units in two 1,200-foot-high towers, a condominium building and an apartment-hotel, on a two-acre site at 330 Biscayne Blvd. With retail at street level and 18 garage levels above, the residential units would start high above the city and go up, up, up. Miami architect Kobi Karp has designed “life safety” features, which include three bridges between the towers to provide egress from one to the other.

I say somewhere around 0.5/10.

these things might fit nicely into Toronto, but miami?!
Then agian i could be wrong, they could end up looking great in the Miami skyline!
