I know this view very well. Çanakkale could be a big city. It has everything Istanbul has. I don't know why it is still a small city?

Çanakkale is not a big city but very beatiful, i remember somethings from my geoghraphy lessons. this city has perfect potential for become a big city but its about geoghraphical problems, i think. Dardanelles is not so tin like Bosphorus.

Urban Çanakkale boğazına boshorus denmiyor. aslında bosforus istanbul boğazının öze adı, çanakkale boğazının özel adı dardanel...

but is this http://wowturkey.com/tr47/tuncay_erd...akkale_050.jpg a flooded valley, or a dam being filled though I guess it's impossible to know unless you live there, still kinda interesting to see tress like that

çanakkale bence her türkün en azından çmründe bir kez görmesi gereken bir yer. Adı bile tüylerimi diken diken etmeye yetiyor.

yok maalesef. Yolda Çanakkale'den geçerken Çektim. Gelibolu'da durduk ama pek iyi bir yer değil. Gerçi Çanakkale şehri de çok çirkin bir şehir.
