sup guys,im 15 umm.... born and live in fairfax, va - suburbs of DC
i returned to Vietnam when i was 7.... soo sad dont remember alot
dont mind me i just like to read everything thats posted hehe did u notice i said RETURNED yeh im really proud of being vietnamese

Versalvin, I will be soon! I'm planning to live in the Mekong-delta city of Can Tho. I lived in the house on Phan Thanh Gian (Dien Bien Phu) at the corner of Cao Thang until 1990, and currently in Southern California. I'm trying to wrap things up here before able to say "let's go!" I'm an everywhere guy, heh? Well, I was born and raised half of my teenage years. The lesser half in Baria, then back to Saigon for a few years before moving to the States. I currently live a stone-throw away from Pho 54. Having a great aroma of "nuoc leo" at my front door everytime. Planning or working on moving to Can Tho, my wife's hometown, where I have a house, but it's not in the near future.

there's alot of Pho 54 restaurants. Would this one happen to be on the corner of mcfadden/brookhurst

Have you ever tried Pho Thanh Lich? It's on the corner of brookhurst and hazard. They have great filet mignon. I just tell the waitress/waiter to get me "Pho Filet Mignon" and they know what im talking about.

I might have a chance to find it next summer since I'm planning to visit the country from the North, my parents' homeland, to the South. I did it once before a few years back, but did not have a good camera, so I'll have to do it again!

haha awesome! Glad someone liked my rating of that restaurant. I can honestly say they make the best Pho I've ever eaten.
