Re:

that's just an amazing place! I wonder what does it look like from another angle... (they always show it from this angle, where you can see the waterfalls)

How about posting what are you currently listening? I'm listening to Take On Me by A-Ha, remembering my childhood...

cool song (except that part where the guy screams like someone detached his balls)

Before the war Jajce town had 15.000, today it could be about 10.000.

Yes, Irfan is from Jajce but I don't use his progam, I use Slow View mostly.

forgot to ask, guys in Zagreb if you have chance can you take new pics of tram in action, final look...

O yes LF, I gave up on HZ, it is prohibitively expensive for me to call them and wait half an hour for to get some stupid secretary, I just think if you get anywhere with this I whish you all the best, I'll try once more to call them buggers and than I'll give up. I think to many ppl work for HZ - they are so inefficient...

Soon when University Hospital is complete and Rebro is relocated (new developments you all know about) many hospitals in Zagreb face closures, one of them being Petrova Hospital; Merkur Hospital, Children's Hospital, few specialised hospitals and holy Spirit General Hospital, in all about 6-7 hospitals face closure. Future of Zagreb medicine would concentrate on few state of the art medical centres, such as University Hospital, Rebro, Dubrava Medical Centre, Vinogradska Medical Centre and Trauma Centre, everything else will close down, perhaps infectious diseases hospital might remain as it is quite good and has excellent isolation wards for highly infectious diseases...

And yes I asked no less than Minister of health to get this answer, lol... OK he was in former government but nothing has changed since...

Although I think children's hospital should remain as it is only such facility in what was former Yugoslavia and wider, nearest such clinic is in Vienna and Milan. Zagreb Children's Hospital is medium large facility with 300 beds and it receives about 5 million US$ per year in support from overseas charity organisations. Here in UK we have charity shield and Zagreb Children's hospital is regular recipient of this charity from UK.

well I tried irfan view but it is not as good as ACDsee, I mean I can edit my pictures, resize them and do weird stuff with it, unless irfan has all this facilities, I haven't seen it on version I had..

Ops, than that are concept differences, i use IrfanView for main image control (preview, resize, compression, batching.... etc), and for every possible fast operations. For advanced editing (like colors, layers) i use separate Software like Photoshop. AcdSee is something in the middle, it s a bit more than fast editing, and much lesser than advanced editing, but it doesn't fit in my image editing profile

great news LF, metro looks set to be constructed, I think underground tram network would be best, sort of 5 trams lines all underground and in sections towards outskirts it can be over ground...

I would be much cheaper than full metro and as fast as metro... I think it still might cost more than 5bn HRK predicted by someone in Zagreb, lol they are cheeky buggers for all 5 lines for 5bn, lol joke of the century.

but also they must connect all parts of Zagreb with trams,

Hvala!

This forum is fantastic, I'm so glad I found it. It is rather confusingly organized though. It's good to see a lot of croats here!

LOL, its funny seeing parts of my Croatian vocabulary (Zadar dialect) mentioned here .....

šugaman = towel
kalceta = socks
mudande = underwear
pomodore = tomatoes
katriga = chair
pinjor = fork
