Some south amercian cities are badly underrated and imo, lots of their sklines are very impressive, may be even better than many north american cities.

Ain't she a Beauty ? - Credit goes to Joe Zekas from SSP

Chicago's Wolf Point proposal, has been approved by the alderman, so it should be smooth sailing from here, the Wolf Point project is actually as big as the Sears Tower in square footage. I also happened to notice something on SSP the other day.

One of the prominent users on there, Mr Downtown, said this "I talked yesterday with someone in real estate marketing who had been contacted about possibly doing work on a 2000-foot project on the site of the Spire. No further info at this time." I wouldn't get excited yet, but it sounds like we could hear of a 600m proposal in the near future. I have also heard that Trump had some interest in the Spire location, not sure if that is connected, but it is definitely interesting.

^ That would be great news (if true)! I'll keep my fingers crossed for Chicago.

The Skytree would look massive in any city, but doubly so in Tokyo.

Definitely, it is one of my favorite observation towers, my favorite is probably the one in Guangzhou, Canton Tower

Canton Tower is one of my favourites as well. I'm not so sure about the Skytree; maybe it will grow on me. Being the first extremely tall observation tower, and the tallest on earth for so long, the CN Tower will likely always be the classic to which I compare all others.

It's the ESB or Chrysler building of observation towers.
