Because Shanghai has the most buildings above 18 stories, it's not exactly something difficult to deduce. = ='

Wow
Dubai has no history. It's becoming a pure touristic city, without any density of buildings in addition to it. In my eyes it's a city where they play simcity for the time after the oil-sources will run dry.
I can't imagine that Dubai will be attractive for so many people to plan their vacation their! LEt's see...

What I noticed is, that the Honkong Skyline is mostly shown on new years eve!
Does it need light and fireworks to be beautiful?

The skyline of Dubai is ugly! I feel sorry for the people that like HK, because i don't like that style of cities. New York deserves the number 1. Tokio is also nice.

YA, Shanghai stretches on for miles, or so it seems.
If thats your type of skyline then its golden.
I have only pics to go on but Shanghai and HK both hold their own, shanghai is futuristic looking and great

what I do know is dont be quick to dismiss chi and nyc.

One thing, the supertall is not over in North America and both NY and Chicago are building up. Other supertalls on the rise are also in Las Vegas, Nashville and San Francisco
