I think Bangkok is developing an amazing skyline that is growing by leaps and bounds. I, personally like it very much, specially with the addition of Maha Nakhon and the other upcoming supertalls. However, there are just too many other cities (easily ten) at the moment with more developed and defined skylines than Bangkok.

There's no doubt Bankok has massive skyline but it just too spread out. Most of the building also are not that impressive except for few like Mahanakhon for example. But other than that, Bankok is only filled with a typical concrete building. This is only my opinion.

Bangkok has a large and good density but lacks quality. They do not have financial CBD with bunch of glassy buildings. I would say bkk share similarities with buenos aires or sao paulo just that bkk has better height

Agreed. Me preferred quality over quantity. I loves the Singapore skylines, small but compact with a nicely designed building.
